I’ve been called crazy and weird before because I LOVE that new baby smell. Love it. LOVE.IT. And the farther away my own children get from the time they were tiny babies, the more I seem to long for that new baby smell. So whenever the opportunity arises to be around a precious baby, any baby, I jump at the chance. Don’t judge me.
Olivia arrived to a home with two little brothers and all of a sudden the house was filled with pink ribbons, flowery dresses and smiley faces. I treasured every second of this shoot. Precious.❤️

I love baby bumps, who doesn’t?! So when my friend Diana asked me to come along to her niece’s baby shower, of course I jumped at the chance and brought my camera in tow. After growing my very own two little humans, I know how precious that moment is when you’re celebrating the new, precious life you’ll soon bring into the world. Congratulations and happy pushing!

Back in May I introduced you guys to baby Benjamin in this post. A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure again of speaking with Marina, Benjamin’s mother. She wanted to get photos done for Christmas cards, and I thought how can it be Christmas if the year just started? … yea, 11 months ago! Where does the time go.
So we met up last weekend for pictures of Benjamin along with his three cousins. Let me tell you, I’m used to chasing my kids around to snap pictures, but the pressure was on. Two babies, one three year old and a fine young man. I definitely had my work cut out for me but it was a blast! Let me share with you some of my favorite shots from that day…. the last one I die for! Now it’s time to get to work on my Christmas cards. Happy Thursday!

Thanks to social media time slips through our fingers without actually weighing how fast time flies, until you realize it’s been over a year since you’ve seen your friends! One year and a half ago I wrote this post about my dear friend being pregnant again after 16 loooong years. We had an awesome baby shower last October and baby Sophia was born last November.
I’ve seen her baby pictures since day one. I’ve kept up with her first little steps and funny little laugh on Facebook. So you can see why I was in total shock when her birthday invitation came in the mail, and it hit me that a year had gone by and I had yet to meet little Sophia. Her mama calls me bad Auntie, and that’s fine with me. I was a very bad auntie.
Yesterday was a wonderful day full of fun and laughs and it was also a great reminder that real face time and human interaction is so much better that keeping up online.
I promise not to let another year go by without soaking up all this baby goodness. Say hello to little Sophia.
