I have an amazing day job that allows me to work mostly from home, I get to work and be with my youngest all day. I do have to make an appearance at the real office every so often and the drive is killer, 90 miles each way.
Up the street from the office there is this tiny, hidden, little park with great views and trails all around. When I used to work at the office every day this was my favorite lunch spot. I would take my lunch, sit at the blue bench and just stare into the distance. It is so peaceful and breathtaking, even on foggy, overcast days. When I was there last week I decided to stop by and it didn’t disappoint. I noticed this guy sitting on the fence just staring, the same way I used to do, for what seemed to be an eternity. It’s a great place to be alone with your thoughts… and just be. Happy Monday!
