Birthday Girl

Tuesday, May 29th, 2012

I can’t believe we are here again. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was writing about her sixth birthday. One year later and it’s here again, I can’t believe she’s 7!!! She is growing up to be such a lady (I know grandma has a lot more to do with that than me :) ). I love how she is so mindful of people’s feelings and so concerned about the wellbeing of others. I pray that with each passing year you will continue to grow not only in age and size but also the great qualities that you already possess. Happy birthday my love!

The Circle Of Life

Monday, May 21st, 2012

Early last year I had the privilege of shooting engagement pictures for Marina & Sal. This year I was pleasantly surprised when Marina contacted me with some great news, she wanted me to photograph their brand new baby boy. It has been a wonderful experience to witness the circle of their life. From engagement to married to mommy and daddy. Getting to hold little Benjamin in my arms was priceless, nothing beats that baby smell.

Allow me to introduce you to the newest member of this little family.

Dancing In The Shadows

Monday, May 14th, 2012

One of the benefits of working from home is that I get to capture some of the special moments that I would otherwise miss were I not home with my little one all day. As you all know, she can be a trouble maker. But she is full of energy, joy and an incredible ability to make me laugh. She goes through her day singing and dancing without a care in the world. I love that innocence that prompts her to just throw her arms up and dance, giving me just enough time to grab my camera and catch her in the shadows. May we all have those moments where we can just dance in shadows without a care in the world. I hope all you mamas had a great day yesterday. Happy Monday!

Moon Shine

Sunday, May 6th, 2012

All I heard about on the news yesterday was about this Super Moon. The moon has always been a sore subject for me because I’ve never been able to get a good picture of it, it always looked like a bright lightbulb. After seeing a few pictures on Instagram last night I was determined to get this shot. Let me just say that I was up way past my bedtime but I’m happy with what I was able to capture.

It was huge, it was bright and I felt like it was shining down on me, patiently waiting for me to get my shot. Here it is, the Super Moon. Happy Weekend!

Not What They Used To Be

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012

Every year we go to this amazing car show in the city of Downey, CA. and it never disappoints. I’m a lover of old cars, some may blame my husband for this but I loved old cars before he came along. It just got worse with him :) . The curves, the detail, they’re beautiful works of art. I’m on the hunt for my own classic station wagon, hopefully you’ll see a post about that one day. In the meantime, check out these amazing cars and try not fall in love. Happy Wednesday!
