San Diego

Friday, December 31st, 2010

I had the opportunity to go to San Diego this year and had a room with an amazing view.  I was there on non-photography business but took my full gear.  I’m sure people were wondering who the lady sticking out of the balcony with the tripod was, but it paid off.  Click here to see more San Diego pictures.

Beautiful Sky

Thursday, December 30th, 2010

Yesterday I had to run out in between pouring down rain and this is what the sky looked like.  Imagine what this picture would look like if it wasn’t my camera phone?  Still amazing.

And just in case someone may be concerned about when and where I choose to photograph, I was stopped at a red light when I snapped the picture.  Safety first. :)

Too Cute To Pass Up

Anyone that knows me well knows that I am not an animal person… at all! But this was so darn cute, I even had to snap a few shots. Aaawwww

… and a Merry Christmas it was

These hands are the most talented hands you will find.  I may be bias but I am my brother’s biggest fan.  The way he evokes emotion with the simple strum of his guitar or a beautiful piece on the piano is truly a gift.

Merry Christmas

Friday, December 24th, 2010

I’ve always had a hard time getting into the spirit of Christmas when it comes to decorating, I’m just not the decorating type.  But now I have two young daughters who are so excited about Christmas that I had to make an effort.

In addition to my non-decorating skills, we have outgrown our tiny, tiny house and have absolutely no room for  a tree.  So this year I decided to get creative and give the girls a cute “tree”.  We have a shelf in the living that is shaped kind of like  a tree, so we put lights on it and ornaments and voila!  We now have a tree…. sort of.  The girls love it so that’s all that matters, right?

May you have wonderful Christmas full of family and love.  Merry Christmas!
